Product Description

Glycerol monostearate (GMS) appears as a white powder, non-toxic, Insoluble in water but dispersible and emulsifiable in hot water; readily soluble in hot organic solvents such as hot ethanol and oils/fats..

Product Features

1. Excellent dispersibility 2. Excellent emulsifying performance 3. Good thermal stability

Applications

Antistatic and anti-dust agent for plastic packaging films

Using glycerol monostearate in plastic packaging films minimizes static accumulation and prevents dust from adhering to the packaging, keeping it cleaner.

Lubricant and mold release agent for resins

Glycerol monostearate can be added to resins as an external and internal lubricant, thereby reducing friction and melt viscosity. It can also be used as a mold release agent for easy demolding.

Antifogging and antidrip agent for agricultural greenhouse plastic films

In agriculture, glycerol monostearate can be used in greenhouse plastic films to prevent moisture from accumulating on the film surface, ensuring a clear film surface for light to penetrate to the plants.

Co-emulsifier and thickener for cosmetics

Glycerol monostearate can emulsify and thicken cosmetic emulsions, thereby improving the texture of cosmetics and the skin feel after use.

Food additive

Glycerol monostearate can be used as an emulsifier, thickener and stabilizer in foods such as baked goods, seasonings and ice cream, serving as a food additive to enhance texture and consistency.
